Biosynth are pleased to announce the appointment of Marie Leblanc to the role of Executive Vice President of Life Sciences.

Marie joins Biosynth from Lonza, bringing close to 20 years of experience in commercial leadership positions across various modalities in the CDMO market and in life science products. Through her career at Lonza, Marie’s engagement and leadership have been instrumental in shaping Lonza commercial success fostering best practice sharing and collaboration.

Most recently, she was the Global Head of Account Management for Lonza Cell & Gene Technologies, and prior to this role, she was the Head of Sales EMEA for Lonza Small Molecules division.

In the role of Executive Vice President of Life Sciences, Marie will have commercial and strategic responsibility for Biosynth's development and manufacturing services as well as critical product supply, to life science customers across pharma, vaccines and research.

Marie holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Aix-Marseille University, France and an MBA from St. Gallen University, Switzerland. In addition, Marie also serves on the board of Basel Area Business & Innovation.
